
People waiting for trains are always good subjects.

Though I find sketching on the underground a more stressful experience.
Fortunately the queue for the Natural History Museum wasn't too long and I made it in to draw Hope the blue whale.

Then had some lunch in the cafe.

Afterwards I drew the parrots suspended in the Hintze Hall.

and once I had finished in the museum I had a cup of tea at a cafe that sells Portuguese Nata.
The drawing on the left is looking up through the skylight in the back of the cafe, on the right are a couple eating pastries.
There had been an incident at Leighton Buzzard so the return train was delayed and hence packed. There were no seats so I sat on the floor which was a great spot for drawing the commuters.
